I recommend washing in cold on the delicate cycle with a color catcher sheet (you can find at Amazon) to avoid having the colors bleed. I lay mine flat to dry, but I’ve heard that people have had success with machine drying on low.

Some people prefer to wash them rarely, maybe once a year. Other people wash them more frequently and they seem to hold up. Of course the more you wash them, the sooner they may wear out.

Crate and Barrel makes lovely blankets, but they are not handmade quilts. Quilts are art. They are assembled by an artist and have a quality that can not be duplicated en masse.
